My thoughts, feelings, and opinions, as yes, though in continuous agonizing pain, underweight for six foot, I can think. And feel. And wonder why they treat this the way they do. I don't run and if I walk, not on a wheel.

Psalm 91's Comfort and the Story Behind It
My Story Behind it:
Bev was my last patient and this was her favorite Scripture. She kept asking me to read it to her in her last days. I remember the moment she went even-I was on the stupid phone with a friend. I thought for a long time because of that I shouldn't be in nursing and then realized that she hadn't been expected to go so quickly and at that time. Oddly though, she had never before asked anyone to be her "prayer partner" and in her final days before she went comatose, she asked me over and over.
It's been MY favorite since.
